Awards Timeline:
· The call for nominations was posted in April.
· Nominations were accepted throughout the month of May.
· Top nominees were announced in June, and the public
was asked to vote via online survey.
· In July, all finalists were recognized as local heroes,
and the winner of the popular vote was crowned 2016
Parks and Recreation Champion.
